Clarion Alley 2012

The “Respect” Award is my personal award for fellow bloggers who consistently reach out to other bloggers, offer support, are kind, struggle to understand differences in people, and who treat themselves and other people with kindness and respect.

You don’t have to do anything for this award.

You can choose to copy the Award Picture and give the award to the people who have earned your respect or you can do nothing.

This is my way of saying thank you. You have earned my respect.

  1. Melanie, author of, “Looking for the Light” blog, nominated me for your award. Words cannot express my gratitude, both for receiving the award, but for the recognition you wish to bestow upon others. You will never know how dear this is to me. Trust me, Light radiates from your heart and it has illuminated mine.

Thank you, Robert for thinking of others in such a beautiful manner.

      1. Thank you, Robert. I need to do a bit of housekeeping, and will during the winter. I began my blog as a “foodie” but have moved to connecting with others who suffer from mental illness. I feel I can do greater work by lending my ear and offering hope to others. Together, may we feel not so alone.☕️❤️

  2. Congratulations, Rob! I value your perspectives on life, art and caring towards others. You definitely reach out through your comments. Danica is one who is a very giving fellow blogger, but I also follow others on your list! Take care and I hope you have a wonderful response from your creating the Respect Award.

  3. Thank you so much for this!!! It means so much, and it is beautiful, and I wish I could do more to truly deserve it, but am touched beyond measure that you felt I do anyway. These are the best things anybody can ever say about me. Thank you xxx

  4. Thank you, Rob, not just for the award, but for thinking of me and in such lovely terms. 🙂
Your mission is one that takes courage, but more, you know that respect will bring it to people as it needs to be brought.
Take care and all the best, always. 🙂

    1. I always look forward to reading what you have to say, especially recently, there’s a edge to your recent work.

I think anger, especially the anger one feels when confronted with ill will best dealt with by focusing on the people who work their asses off to be a positive force in our lives.

I’ve read that we can get a thousand compliments but the comment we remember is the one that trashes us.

This award is my way of remembering that most of the people who read and comment on my blog aren’t dick weeds.

  6. Rob, I love this award! It’s such a wonderful sentiment. I also really like your image.
Thank you so much for nominating me. I’m truly humbled.
I notice a few nominees that I’m not already following so I’ll be sure to check them out.
Thanks again, Rob. You made my day. 🙂

  7. Thank you, Robert for including me. My blog is award free but I appreciate having your respect. This award you’ve created is really one which you personally represent. My hat is tipped to acknowledge my respect for you.

  8. I like the way you’ve done this. It always feels a bit weird receiving awards from others. Makes me a bit uncomfortable. But just all acknowledging blogs you enjoy and respect is a terrific way to give them credit without any pressure. Bravo!

      1. Thank you! I felt so supported by the other bloggers on WordPress during the stress of the past week that I wanted to say thank you. This is not an exhaustive list–there are other people who should be on this list–and I’m thinking that maybe I should add them as I see their names. Feel free to use the award — or make your own. It felt good to do.
