Abstract based on a photograph taken on Market Street

One is born into a herd of buffaloes and must be glad if one is not
trampled under foot before one’s time.

  1. Nice image. It’s intriguing that you paired it with that Einstein quote. I think “spun” is also slang for being high on meth, which is how I read that image. The uncertainty of the future for an addict–and the literal way the world must look to one.

    1. You’re right. Spun is slang for being high on Meth. I used to work with meth addicts when I worked in mental health and I was impressed by the fact that many of them were extremely bright people who had the misfortune of a birth into poverty; not all of them, but the majority were bright, under-educated and under-employed. Many of them told me that they used speed because it made them feel strong.
