    1. It may depend on the State you’re in. In California there is a grievance procedure and I use it which means that I get the care I ask for. I have Medicare plus and my Partner has straight up Medi-cal through the Affordable Care Act. No premium increases and ACA added Dental and Vision coverage to Medi-Cal.

Again, I don’t know where you live but I do have some observations about Republicans. They are very good at using their power to break programs designed to benefit the public and then using their sabotage as evidence of the governments failure to use taxpayer money wisely.

But the short reply (too late, right) is that I have not seen what you describe in California, although people who make tons of money (in California) will see increases in their premiums, but that’s how it’s supposed to be.

  1. Out of curiosity, what inspired this? If a supposed he or she answers this prayer then yay…but on to the other prayers such as solutions for hunger and disease and abuse…why no answers? Sorry.

I don’t hwve social media other than WP. I have one foot out the door. We all have drama in our lives.

    1. This was inspired by a post that I found Facebook.

I don’t know that God answers prayers; or maybe s/he answered one when s/he gave us the ability to use reason and decided to see if we’d figure out how to use it to answer our own prayers.

He or she is still waiting.

In the meantime this is a bit tongue in cheek as I followed it up with ‘Drama Queen” by Family Force 5.

I know what you mean about having one foot out the door when it comes to social media.

I was like that for almost five years. Life is too short to waste it on the irritating perpetual teenagers.

After awhile I realized that I was allowing the worst kind of people to bully me out of opportunities to meet the best kind of people.

I think it’s good that you started with WordPress.

WordPress doesn’t seem to attract the kind of concentrated malignant pathology that certain other social media attracts.

      1. Your honesty is refreshing. I am agnostic. I find it difficult to believe that a god would GAS about granting a parking spot or a Superbowl win with so many other things going on. The free will thing…well there is that, too. You have a point. That song touched a nerve. My deal though.

I used to belong in chat rooms waaay back. I cbose not to do FB…Twitter and the rest. Ever. I have my own unoriginal swear monikers for them. WP has its own set of issues. It gets hinkey sometimes but for the most part is awesome. πŸ˜ƒ

      2. Well I believe in God but I don’t believe that he/she/it gives a rats ass about parking spaces, guns, capitalism, ‘natural law’ or any of the other pseudo-scientific clap trap people hide behinds to protect their minds from ever having to consider the magnitude of he miracle of our lives on this planet.

If there is tragedy in this world, it is that most of our species treats the human intellect with disdain; which means that they also treat the living God that manifests itself through the human mind in disdain.
