  1. It’s always a pleasure Robert. You’ve done me a favour too, since I enjoyed this so much today I decided to put an aria from Madame Butterfly on mine tonight though I was tempted to go with Malcolm McLaren.

  2. Reblogged this on Erika Kind and commented:

What a Monday morning! I am a bit out of words at the moment! Robert surprised me completely with such a lovely gesture. We were talking about classical music lately and now he posted a beautiful piece and dedicated it to me! Robert, as far as I got to know you I knew you are a wonderful person. That makes this gift even more precious. I am more than humbled. Thank you from my heart! πŸ’–

    1. You’re welcome Erica. I like the idea of doing a weekly round up of the people and the blogs that I like…and I’m really not able to organize to do interviews and guest blogs. But I can do something like this. When I saw this photo I thought of the recording you posted — I didn’t have it so I decided on this piece from the Magic Flute–and since you inspired it I dedicated it to you. I’m glad that you like it.

      1. That is such a lovely idea! That way you are doing something nobody did before – at least I don’t know about anybody. You are doing it your way which is a beautiful way. I feel honored that the picture made you think of me and that you thought of such a beautiful piece of music to dedicate to me. Thank you very much, Robert! πŸ’–

      2. My pleasure. It means alot to me that so many people are willing to lay aside disbelief and skepticism to hear what I have to say; especially after my earlier encounters. I think that when people read my words with an open mind they can see that I’m not looking for anything special, just my little place in the world where I can do things that give my life meaning. That’s what everyone wants.

One of the reasons I accept awards is that they help me to organize in a way that allows me to recommend other bloggers. I have a hard time with concentration and I can’t predict when I’m going to switch, though I’ve gotten better at sensing it. I know that I am going to switch in day or two because I can feel it coming on.

    1. I think I’m going to do this as my version of highlighting a blogger a week. I see weekly picks and I think that’s cool but I get so much from the people who visit my blog; that I want to give something back..and thank you for tweeting my posts and sharing them. I really appreciate it, Dave…
