This Wednesday I’m honored to feature the work of MichaeLynn Borich.
MichaeLynn Borich is two people.
Below is their profile statement:
For us photography is a great reason to explore together the lovely Ozarks where weather and light are ever-changing. We sold our home (and darkroom) to move to China a few years ago to teach English for two years, so we don’t shoot film anymore — goodbye beloved Rollei and 4×5 Speed Graphic with the 135 Optar lens, goodbye funky plastic, toy Holga, and welcome to the new world of digital cameras: We are blessed and daily inspired by so many wonderful Flickr image makers.
Their work is well crafted and diverse.
If you like it please let them know by leaving a comment.
I was really interested to hear you taught in China, thank you also for your support-hopefully it will stop.

Sheldonk2014– congrats on the one-year blog. . .your Peter, 2103 is an amazing artistic image — love it, and we also found Smoked Mirrors quite thoughtful, but we are always drawn to poetry. . .we appreciate your kind words. . ML

Thank you so much for your kind words . . .and we see from your blog you are a love of cats and dogs, as are we– having taught two years in China, we were aware of the dog food restaurants in our city (6 million people), and always told our students how wrong to eat dogs . . .most of the young generation agrees and it seems the practice is gradually diminishing. . . but keep up the fight! Thank you so much for your kind words . . .and from your blog we can tell you love cats and dogs, as do we. Having taught two years in Qingdao, China (6 million people) we were well aware of the dog food restaurants in the city . . .and we always told our students how wrong to eat dog.. .most of them agreed and never would, and though the younger generation is moving away from that practice, keep up the fight! Appreciate you kind words. . .and we found your blog interesting. . .not sure we know any real writers/authors who are not lonely as the the inner world one enters to wrestle words onto paper means a solitary quest.. .we liked what we read, and you are fortunate to have a wife and daughter support your artistry. . ..as to publishing, we finally gave up on mainstream publishing and began our own independent press with a couple imprints. . .books and ebooks can be published through Amazon at no cost. . .it works for us. .. good luck! Awh, thank you for this very nice reply! Your creations are absolutely beautiful and so versatile. I have to check but I think Würzburg is only about 2 – 3 hours away from the country I live. So not far away at all. I am glad you enjoyed your time and if you come back once then let me know 😊
