Hi everyone and happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is off to a great start! Since today is Saturday, a local band or musician is featured here on Life of an El Paso Woman. Today is a big day for hip-hop artist Rmllw2llz (Romell with 2 l’s)! He’s launching his latest EP, “New Growf!” I included a blog post about my high school classmate on May 12, 2015. Although Rmllw2llz doesn’t live in El Paso anymore, he grew up here in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Rmllw2llz currently stays busy in the Louisville, Kentucky hip-hop scene. Aside from recording music and touring, he also hosts a radio show. He plans on launching “New Growf” at a release show with other hip-hop acts. As we prepare to embark on a new week, I thought it would be nice to shift our focus toward something fun! Therefore, I decided to share a video that does a magnificent job of shattering stereotypes related to gender, age and race.
