  1. Thank you for posting the link, Rob. I’ve been trying to avoid politics the last couple of days, but knew you’d post something I’d want to see.

  2. I am so glad I am hanging out now with ancient rocks in the USA. They are so much wiser than our candidates. This is a seriously sad time for our country. I feel trepidation about Tuesday, but I will be the midst of Navajo Tribal Land, hanging out with the real Americans from whom I know I will gain perspective.
Because there is no wifi, I won’t know the election results, which seems like a blessing. If Trump is elected it will confirm my lack of faith in much of America. If Hilary is, I will be relieved, but wondering always, why can’t we do better than this?
I think the Native (read real) Americans will understand exactly I feel.
Peace and all good things to you .

    1. It’s as if Nation went through a crash course in civics.

We’ve asked ourselves and answered questions of why we have codes of conduct, what are the separate powers of our three branches of government, why is it important to vote, and more to the point, what are the responsibilities of the citizens to each other, to their government and to the rest of humanity. Civilization is a tightly bound network of obligations. We’ve had a chance to see what our world looks like when a political party flouts the rule of law and civilized standards of conduct while the press enables therm by amplifying their lies.
