Our President Is Losing It…He Has Lost It

Gronda Morin nails the problem with Trump

I am alleging that our president is a full fledged “psychopath.” The republicans in the US Congress who continue to cover for him as enablers will rue the day, they sold their souls, so that they could revel in their real opportunity to legislate their wish list. When does loyalty to one’s country surpass allegiance to one’s political party?

With many, there is the misconception that psychopaths are serial killers but this is not a realistic picture, as only a very small number act out in this way. Most appear normal and charming upon initial contact. The experts report that about 1% of the population could be classified as psychopathic. It is estimated that 15% of those incarcerated would fit this profile but of those executives in the business world about 7% would qualify.

countryside winter

snowed in house

cut off from sound

ice storm and horror movies

Kurt Cobain

everyone wearing plaid

stringy hair and

grinding hips

the rat eating his house

you smoking in a velvet chair

sunday interminable

release from despair

the portent of future

how hope of youth is our torment

all is possible and nothing is as real as it feels

the illusion and persistence of dreams

did I sleep to wake 20 years hence

still thinking tomorrow I will sit exams

anxious briefly as if time were a rubber band

no more the rule and curve

of outstretched hands

before we could afford tattoos

dying our hair with fragments

only the gentle footfall of sex and orange…

Liquid Poems

I want to make

liquid

poems

from teardrops

and old saliva

raising pit to pittance

with the seductive hand
of death

ungloved and

making

me come.
