This is how we take back our government

  1. YES! “the real deal is when voters demand accountability from their reps.” Accent on DEMAND. A standing ovation for this eloquent man would have been more effective than mere clapping. We can ALL do that. We can ALL email our reps – repeatedly. We can ALL continue to call and insist, flooding their voicemail with our displeasure.

We can ALL pay attention to voting records and show up at the polls to vote OUT every single politician who supports the travesty that the orange man/child is trying to put over on us. It barely matters who we vote IN – if we band together to send a strong message that they will lose their seats, the politicians who remain will finally sit up and take notice.

UNFORTUNATELY, we can also continue to “wait and see” until it is too late for millions of Americans. We can fail to vote in record numbers again because, one by one, we get lazy – or believe that our one little vote can’t make a difference.

If we are not part of the solution, then we ARE part of the problem – enabling what we complain about and fret over.

    1. Isn’t that the beauty of it. By ourselves we can do nothing, but united by a vision we can make a more civilized world for out children. We know this is true because many of us were raised in that imperfect but infinitely more civilized world.
