The 2017 Respect Award

I give this award out once a year as a way to acknowledge
and show respect to fellow bloggers.

I respect you because, you’re compassionate, witty, interesting,
rebellious, imaginative, patient, open-minded, and creative.

I respect you because you are generous with your words and
support; you walk your talk.

I respect you because you raise my spirits and make me smile.

I respect you because you make me a better blogger.

I respect you because you make me feel human.

Nominees don’t have to do a thing.  Nada.  Nothing.

I’ve done my best to avoid nominating people who don’t accept

But again, this is a no obligation award.

    1. It’s possible they’re arriving late. I’ve noticed a lag.

Or is it that I changed my comments settings to ‘moderate’ because politically correct trump supporters can’t tolerate criticism of clueless leader without leaving a torrent of ad hominem attacks.

You may just be noticing the change.

      1. Some people will be rude just to be rude…But Trump supporters live in a special world where their opinions are the only one’s that count. For them, Freedom of the press, freedom of religion, and civil rights are sneered at and discarded. Such people aren’t worth my time.

  1. I am honored and humbled by this award. Thank you so much, Rob. The respect is mutual, my friend. Sometimes, I’m asked if there are any bloggers that I would like to meet. You are always at the top of that list. Our tattered souls have so much in common. When I read your words, I can feel every word you write.
Again, thank you so very much. Hugs and kisses. 🙂

  2. Rob, respect is such a hugely important thing to me. (Something one doesn’t fully appreciate until it’s not there anymore.) So heartfelt thanks, my friend. Hugs on the wing.

    1. Thank you Sheldon. I do get it. I’m healthier than I was when I first started blogging but I will always be someone who carries a wound. Perhaps that’s the way it’s supposed to be.

  4. Reblogged this on Erika Kind and commented:

I stopped doing awards because I want to put the message in the center of the attention and not my person. But this award has a special meaning to me because the person who created and forwarded it is deeply respected by me.
It is an honor to receive this award from you, Robert! Thank you from my heart and know that I appreciate you and your gesture very much!

  7. This is so great of you to do. I know most of the sites you mentioned as well. And, I’m an alumni of this award from last year, so I know they’ll all be honored to receive it. You, it should be noted, have the respect of all of us too. Keep up the great work! 😊
