This is a delightful “getting to know you” post, Rob. You made it so fun. I’m totally curious about Sirens of Atlantis.
I have burned water once, so I should learn to cook it as well.
Shoes hurt my feet since I was 10 years old. Now I love my Clarke’s.
My blog is definitely a literary experiment. I’m honored to collaborate with you for Hullaba Lulu, which is truly performance art.
Hugs on the wing.

Your experiment is a success and our collaboration is something of a performance, it feels like juggling. I’m enjoying every minute of it.

I love your answers, Robert. So much humor in them, and a bit of wisdom as well. And I’m intrigued by your last answer… working on a book launch… Wishing you the very best and I’m looking forward to it. 🙂

I think I may have gotten ahead of myself…although I’m certain I have enough material for a book of poems.

Thanks for the nomination Rob. I do like these questions. I also become attached to some shoes and find it difficult to part with them and as for cooking water, a useful skill I am sure [smile].

People think I’m joking but I got a collection of expired saucepans as damning evidence of my water burning ways. 🙂

Congratulations, Rob! You deserve this and every award. 🙂 Now, I have to see ‘Siren of Atlantis’. Isn’t that always the way with favorite shoes? Speed sleeping! The world needs that sport.

Actually, I recommend reading ‘Myron’ by Gore Vidal. 🙂

Haha, I love your answers! A word of advice: if you ever figure out how to cook water, PATENT IT IMMEDIATELY. You’ll become richer than anyone in history. Your answer to the movie set question was also hilarious.

LOL…Read Myron by Gore Vidal. Most critics hated it but most critics don’t get gay humor. For instance, Richard Nixon is hiding out on the set of ‘Siren’ to escape the Watergate Hearings. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/88911.Myron

Haha, I’ve noticed that most critics hate most things. I’ll add it to my ever-growing reading list 🙂

They’re usually wrong which is why I like critics who hate everything. I loved Pauline Kael:
“Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash we have very little reason to be interested in them.”

Haha, great quote! But I wonder, what constitutes great art? And who gets to decide?

Perhaps art is like a quantum particle wave, it becomes art when someone decides that it is.

It sometime’s feels impossible. I also have
a fear that the work isn’t mine because I don’t recognize it. DID is so weird and paradoxical.
I’m not complaining–I consider it a technical complication, I hope that makes sense.
