The Cohen Hearings: Is This Who We Are?

I’ve spent most of the day watching Michael Cohen give testimony.

He seems tormented and determined to redeem himself.

This felt like a day of reckoning for Michael Cohen and the American people.

The President represents the People; and our ‘ethos’ as a People is an expression of who we are as individuals.

Donald Trump is a sadistic crook: is that who we are as individuals?

“When we’re dancing with the angels, the question will be asked: In 2019, what did we do to make sure we kept our democracy intact? Did we stand on the sidelines and say nothing?”  Rep. Elijah Cummings, February 22, 2019

I’ve gathered segments of Cohen’s testimony from different news outlets
for the sake of comparison.

    1. Yes, karma and the return of the Rule of Law. We still have to deal with the GOP’s stacked courts. If we investigate and find that the House and Senate GOP are legally compromised as their behavior suggests they are, we should void every appointment and every change in policy.

  1. I’m so glad that you didn’t show any Fox News! An amazing hearing and yet Republicans are still supporting the monster – that is more stunning to me than anything else. They will have to live with the shame.
