Lovely words, Rob, and I love Elton JOhn.

I chose it because in 1973 the gay community knew this song was to a guy. Men didn’t write gender neutral songs in the early 1970’s. Thank you, Robbie.

Thank you, Christy. That hand is a manipulated photo of a mural on 9th Street at Harrison in San Francisco. The mural reminds me of the poster for the first Woodstock.

Thank you for explaining about the art, Robert. I was in San Fran about 10 years ago and enjoyed it.

That was when I began to take pictures with my Blackberry. I enjoy living in San Francisco. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, Christy.

Love the subject, Rob. We need to take a trip back to Christopher Street in 1974 in my time machine.

Love it, Rob. I had a discussion the other night with someone in my writers’ group who says she struggles with haiku because she feels it’s not possible to say all that has to be said in such a restructed form. I said she was wrong and your haiku proves it. I shall show it to her next time we meet!

Mary, thank you for your comment. I worried that this was too bare. It’s good to know that it works for you.
