Hugh of Hughโs Views and News offers a fun and easy challenge
with a nod of thanks to Erika Kind for the idea.
This weekโs challenge is post a song from a memorable time in our lives.
‘Carry On’ was released when I was 16.
I had a memorable adolescence. ๐
Carry on
Love is coming
Love is coming to us all
Where are you going now my love?
Where will you be tomorrow?
Will you bring me happiness?
Will you bring me sorrow?
Oh, the questions of a thousand dreams
What you do and what you see
Lover can you talk to me?

That was such a GREAT time in music! People were openly seeking answers in the lyrics of their songs and there was hope for a better world!

When CSN break into the segue of ‘Carry on’ the harmonies sound like a perfect expression of hope.

I agree fully. I am happy I could inspire Hugh to that series and that he inspired others again!

Thanks for joining us on Weekend Music Share, Rob.
Not a song I have heard before, but your reason for remembering it also made me recall what life was like when I reached my 16th birthday. I seem to recall one of my biggest problems then was how to deal with the terrible acne I had.

Ah, yes, acne: the wrinkles of youth. ๐ I had hair down to my butt and fully believed that love would be coming to us all. The acne and hair are gone but I still believe that love will be coming to us all. Thanks for stopping by Hugh.
