Here’s something extra at the crossroads.

(Don’t fret, you can still read Chapter 7 of Brother Love, by clicking that link.)

The Brother Love serial is nearing a writer’s crossroads.

Within a few more chapters there will be a major revelation.  Although some mystery will remain, I’m undecided about whether it is enough to continue the story.

Since this serial is “interactive,” with readers taking some part, I wanted to share that decision with you.  So, I’m conducting a poll with this post.  Your votes will influence my decisions.  (Yes — before you say it, of course I’ll do what I think is best, but I’d like to know your thoughts.)

If you haven’t read Chapter 7 of Brother Love,

that is a link to the episode that went live yesterday.

Please use the poll above and vote.

Blogging: Ever Lose a Post or Two?

Update 8:19pm

Lord knows I’ve had some recent WordPress woes and was most unhappy about the loss of the re-blog button so I did complain to the WordPress gods who fixed the unhappiness with a sledgehammer.

The upshot is the tech moved my blog to a different server which restored
‘reblog’ and broke everything else.

I’m laughing , really I am.

Any media installed while my blog was on the other server
is gone.

The blog is an unholy nest of missing image links so I have to go
through each post.

It’s a nightmare — but, on the bright side — I get to rebuild my blog.

I’m going to do alot of reblogs for the rest of the week because not
doing it feels like a waste.

Update 6:57pm.

When the re-blog button was restored to Art by Rob Goldstein; I lost a month’s worth of posts. I also lose the formatting when I hit ‘post’ or update’.

I will restore the Feature of Hugh W. Roberts tomorrow.

In the meantime the rest of the blog is a complete mess.

But at least I can do reblogs. (yay! :))

Blogging lesson learned today?

Do backups.

Thanks for bearing with me as I reconstruct the blog.

🎨 Frida Kahlo 🎨

In celebration of my newly restored power to ‘reblog’ I offer this gorgeous art from Graffiti Lux Art & More.

Graffiti Lux Art & More

This is the second Frida Kahlo piece I’ve found.

I met the artist, Anya, while traversing alleys and parking lots. OMG! She was so neat. She spent time chit-chatting with me.

She said the art would be done by Thursday end. She had another art engagement on Friday. I didn’t think Anya & MSKA, who was assisting with B.G., would make the date. Wednesday rained all day.

She showed me the self portrait she was basing this mural on.

LOVE the hand/glove earrings!!!

I went back Sunday. It’s not quite finished, but I shot it anyway. I don’t know when I’ll get back there.

I adore the way she has Frida emerging out of the wings of a Monarch. When I returned, dumpsters had been moved in.

I shoot them as I get them.
