Oooh, I love this image, Rob. The tower in the background makes me imagine a Tesla tower wreaking havoc! π Beautifully done, my friend. Hugs on the wing.
Wow, that is some incredible photo art! π I wish I could have a visual imagination to put stuff like this together…. So far, I only started to photograph, but only editing photos, not making art of them, like this.
I really like this one! It truly feels like a dream that I could walk into…
Thanks for sharing! π
Ha ha, I love this comment. π To be honest I have experimented a bit with coloring photos, but it has never looked this goodand artistic… but, some day perhaps…. π
I am also very new to taking photos for real, I started about six months ago and just recently bought a real camera, cheapest one but still! π It is so much fun and you inspire me to try new things with my photos in the future perhaps. π π
You can do anything to a photo and use it a dozen different ways. Play around with GIMP. I also use paint shop pro and the photo suite than Canon provides with their camera. I am so glad that I discovered this knack for making pictures…Some of the photos I post were made in 2010 when I first started shooting with a Blackberry.
I will try to play around a bit more. π Thanks for all the advice! I will look into those things you mentioned. That is very helpful since I am a newbie.
π π
Will definitely check that out! I don’t think I had ever heard of that. Just shows I am indeed a newbie… π
(I have only played around with the free Phtoscape for editing my photos slightly). Now I have something new to “play with”, will be fun. Thank you!
π
I will have much to play with in the future, I think! π We will see if I dare publish any of that on the blog, or if I am boring and just publish my ordinary photos… π I still like to play around though and see what can become of it… Thanks for all your advice!
I agree! π It has been a hue thing for me just to get a “real” camera and start editing pics a little bit. But yes I want to do some experiments in the future to make it a little bit more into “art”… We will see how it goes…. π

Thanks Teagan. It makes me wish we were writing a story with Tesla in it so I can use this as a backdrop.,

Maybe I’ll see if I can come up with something with Tesla as a central character. Mental wheels are squeaky… need coffee to get them turning. π

Thank you, Paula. The blog crash may have been the best thing to happen to my blog. I’ve found work I didn’t even know I had.

Thanks Erika. A song named Hippy Blood seemed appropriate for a surrealist digital painting of San Francisco.

Fantastic shot, Rob! You should think about creating a coffee table book of your artwork π

Thank you for your comment. This is one of the first photos I took — It was in 2010. The only way it could possibly look good was for me to color it.

Thanks…I learned alot about photo processing from this. I’d never seriously used a camera before 2011

Gimp is free and it’s as complete as Photoshop. A bit more difficult to learn but–free and just as good:

I also like Paint Shop Pro. It has a nice suite of tools. I don’t like the adware but for 50 bucks it’s worth the annoyance.

Thank you–the picture is a landscape of San Francisco taken from Alamo Square Park. I’ve merged it with a photograph of a VR landscape.
