Cee’s Flower of the Day – August 10, 2019: Hide and Seek

I’ve been ill with what I think is food poisoning but may also be somatic anxiety and depression. Regardless, I still feel sick so I’m going to spend the next few days posting flowers and slowly catching up with comments and the blogs I follow.

The yellow rose represents friendship, joy and caring.

‘Hide and Seek’ is my fourth entry for Cee’s FOTD challenge.

I’m not entirely happy with the upper version of ‘Hide and Seek’ and I’m not entirely happy with the one below. I’ll let you decide which you prefer while I puzzle it out.

    1. Robbie, I am feeling better, my writers brain came back. I’m writing the next Trina story which makes me happy. I’ll continue with the flowers while I work on the story. Thanks for telling me your preference. This illustrates why the author or artist is not the best judge of his work.

      1. Don’t worry, Rob. I took a blogging sabbatical and am only just getting back to it. Posted today for the first time in weeks. I had to finish a local history book and am working as a temporary museum attendant – just not enough hours in the day/days in the week.

    1. Thanks Denise. I consulted a doctor today and I’ve caught a bug that’s ‘going around’. Taking a bus in San Francisco is a bit like traveling on a petri dish so he’s probably right. I just want the part of my brain that can think and write back online. 🙂
