The Bougainvillea is native to South America. The flowers are tiny blossoms surrounded by brightly colored modified leaves called bracts.
The Bougainvillea symbolizes passion, liveliness, and life experience.

Bougainvillea has always fascinated me because of the rich colors, but also because the blossoms in the sun seem papery to me. Your image is gorgeous, Rob. Thanks for the song. It’s lovely. I don’t remember that one. Hugs on the wing.

It’s as if they soak up light and release it with a mix of color. They’re just beautiful. Thanks for popping by Teagan.
