  1. This is such an action-packed image, Rob. There are so many stories in it. I love all the different figures and the name above the store and the cinema. I wonder what Market Street is like almost forty years on? And I wonder what happened to all the figures captured in your image? Are they still around to tell their stories? Maybe we’ll have the answers in upcoming posts?

    1. Thanks, Hugh. Based on the comments, the image captured the moment as I hoped it did. This photo is part of a larger project I began to work on in March, shortly before San Francisco’s shut down. Trump’s handling of COVID-19 is as lethal as Reagan’s handling of AIDS. It brings back some stark memories. I’m glad you stopped by and left a comment. It’s taken years of practice, but I feel as If I have a better understanding of how to stage a photo shoot in VR.

      1. The image reminds me a little of what it was like in Soho, in London during the 1980s, Rob. Today, Soho still has its adult’ theatres and shops, but it also has some lovely restaurants and homes. Way out of my price bracket, but so different to how it was 40 years ago.
