Thanks for sharing this, Robert. I should reread Hugh’s post. I’ve been putting this off until WP forces me into it. I’ll have to take a day and just play with it sometime. Not looking forward to it!
I want the tools of blogging to be the kind of tools I don’t have to think about. A hammer is a hammer. A program that works does not necessarily need to be completely rewritten every six months. Some people like the novelty, but I don’t see why we have to learn a new client every six months.

Not too many like the new editor. I’m self hosted and have had to jump many hoops and plugins to be able to keep using it lol 🙂

I’m slowly getting use to it. Slowly.

I should probably block out some time to learn about self hosting.

Or, you can dive in like I did, blindly, lol 🙂

I feel like I was doing that last night. I’ve figured out how to go back and forth between the original program and the new whatever it is. 🙂

Oh, well that’s great progress! I’ve heard some complain about problems with the new editor. I just rather not if I don’t have to, lol 🙂

It’s not the most intuitive interface, that’s for sure,

Thanks for the info. I’ve been using the new editor but like to use some CSS now and then.

I don’t like the new editor, I especially don’t like the fact that I’m forced to give up the reblog button to use it.
