My favorite
characters
have spilt
my guts
in public–
Now alone
with
my ‘self’
though
I
am
perhaps
a pretty
lie.
The globe
spins for
the sake
of
tradition
Gravity
binds
us to
memories
and visions
of sudden
lingering-
death.

I’m pleased that you like it, Robbie. The nice thing about words is the ability to bring a deeper understanding of language and the self to a revision.

Yes, that makes perfect sense.

I just realized the WordPress editor lost some of the changes I made. I really hate the new block editor, at least for now.

I didn’t know what I was writing about when I first composed it, Ivor. I am grateful that I lived long enough to figure it out. 🙂

You’re welcome. That picture of me was taken when I was thirty.
