THE MIND OF RD REVILO

  • Funny, Some People Think
  • War will be different for them
  • They see the deadly destruction
  • But theirs won’t make them a victim
  • They’ll start the fight on Friday
  • Night
  • Then fight
  • Until Sunday
  • Back to work on Monday
  • And if they get injured or hurt
  • The enemy will nurture
  • Them back to work
  • So they can fight some more
  • And even up the score
  • No loss of electricity
  • Water will flow
  • No pain toward victory
  • No disappearance of people they know
  • It’ll be like a picnic
  • Only ants are pests
  • We’ll be in and out quick
  • Unlike the rest
  • Once they knowwe are serious
  • Fear will make the enemy delirious
  • And sue for peace
  • Just beating our chests will scare the beast
  • Our thunderous protests
  • Will make them confess
  • We’ll sing, we’ll cheer
  • The brave will bring up the rear
  • We’ll snarl, our fists we’ll ball
  • We’ll persist, insist…

With A GOP This Dishonest, Who Needs Putin?

I stumbled across this GOP attack on Tim Kane on the Internet Archives.

It’s a variation on the Willie Horton ad.

There is no attempt to discuss the serious problems that face
the citizens of the United States.

There’s no mention of healthcare, income inequality, Social Security or
job loss.

Released October 4, 2016

The ad says that Kaine “consistently protected the worst kinds of people.”

What the ad doesn’t say is that as a Civil Rights Lawyer who often worked
pro-bono, Tim Kane was fulfilling his Constitutional Duty as required by the 6th Amendment:

“In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.”

In the mid in the mid-20th century the Supreme Court ruled that defendants who couldn’t afford to hire lawyers had the right to public defenders. But the basic fact of it is pretty inviolable. There is no crime so heinous in the US court system that a lawyer is not permitted — even obligated — to speak in its defense. Vox

It’s noteworthy that the GOP attacks Hillary Clinton for doing the same thing:

Screenshot from an attack ad against Hillary Clinton for doing her job as a public defender.
Hillary Clinton was a public defender. Defending people who could not afford counsel was her job and duty under the U.S. Constitution.

For the truth behind the lie that Hillary Clinton freed a child rapist please read Snopes.com.

With the RNC using disinformation campaigns to subvert the political process, who needs Vladimir Putin?

A Cautionary Tale of Sexual Cybercrime: The Fight to Reclaim my Name

When we deny the story, it defines us. When we own the story, we can write a brave new ending.

contemporary women

This is a cautionary tale of my experiences as a victim of sexual cybercrime. I’m filled with fear, hesitancy and an overwhelming sense of vulnerability at the prospect of writing this piece. I’ve written a little about my experiences before but never as candid as what is to follow. This time around, I’m fighting to reclaim my name and image, a name and image that has been stolen from me and has depicted me as something I’m not.

So here goes…

It all started a couple of years ago when I discovered through a simple Google Image Reverse search that dozens of photos from my social media were plastered all over pornographic sites: xhamster.com, sex.com, cumonprintedpics.com, motherless.com, titsintops.com you name it.

But let me make one thing clear, none of my photos are or were sexually explicit, they were just ordinary images of myself, that like everyone else my age, and…
