They were as vulnerable to corruption as all people are but because
they set high standards for themselves as a people and for the people
they elected to their government; for this reason the United States
was one of the most trusted and respected Nations in the World.
The Mental Health System in the United States murders its patients. This obvious fact slaps most of us in the face every time we walk an urban street. Is this something we want as a people? The fact that this man who gave so much got so little from a system that was supposed to serve him is an outrage. If we really want to honor his memory we will demolish the sham system that killed him and fund a real mental health system.
