Living only a five-minute walk from the beach, you may be surprised to hear that water scares me. Despite all the lessons, I’ve never been able to swim. For some strange reason, I can not coordinate my arms and legs at the same time.
However, the beach has many other benefits for me; the main one being the refreshing sea breezes we get during long, hot, humid summer days. It may in the upper 90s and humid inland, but come down to the coast, and the temperature will be refreshing.
The people in the above photo may be about to take a refreshing dip into the sea, but the refreshing sea breezes are what keep me going on long, hot, humid summer days and nights.
