Crushed Flowers

Everything I Never Told You

And these are my flaws
My vices.
Impatience, a tongue
sharp as a guillotine.
Caffeine. Chocolate.
Sarcasm on every occasion.
And unquenchable desire
to be loved.
A heart that is an
exhibitionist who
weeps upon
my sleeve
A fear of monochrome
colors, thunder,
the undone,
petty gossip
and letting go.
A hunger to be kissed
often and with fervor.
An awkward shyness
around new people.
A fascination with
the lure of a snowbound
life.
Not being Christian
enough to turn the
other cheek or Zen
enough to just be still.
The knowledge that my
life is unimportant
in a world with a noose
around its neck but
writing about it

I often prefer the company
of books and my cat to
other human beings.

Fashion Photography

Music: Madonna – Vogue (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuJQSAiODqI)

It was high time for some photos with pretty girls, as lately I was more concentrated on conceptual photos or some special occasions as you see in my previous posts. So it was fortunate that shortly after the photomarathon I was approached by Radi, with whom we already had a few photoshoots before (https://kirilson.wordpress.com/2016/05/20/radi-cherry/ and https://kirilson.wordpress.com/2016/05/22/radi-2/) – she has a fashion site that also sells clothes and wanted to make some photos advertising them. Poetry by Tosha Michelle

Everything I Never Told You

There are two or three men
desperate for her.
They beg to see, to touch,
to give her things,
the ocean and coastal terrain.

She’d give in if her head and
heart weren’t tied
up in him, trying to teach her
body not to yearn
for a waterless hill, the tidal waste.

Seconds of minutes of hours of days
wrapped up in him
So much connected to him, it now
belongs to him.
The illusions of shooting stars in
his realm.

Tonight she can almost see the
constellation or consolation
depending on her vantage point.
Stubborn in her convictions
She clings to the his crest, illiac
and shimmering peaks

She calls for him through a
whimsical sky.
For a moment she can almost
hear his cadence
but it’s only the whiskey drenched
moans of two or three
other men answering her through
a solid earth.

Resigned to sleep now. She…
